Dr. Roozbeh Ghaffari obtained his BS and MEng degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received his PhD in biomedical engineering from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (2008). Upon completion of his graduate studies, Dr. Ghaffari co-founded MC10 Inc., a venture-funded company commercializing flexible devices for wearable health monitoring and minimally invasive applications. Dr. Ghaffari is Director of Advanced Technology at MC10 and also serves as a research associate in the MIT Research Laboratory of Electronics. He has published over 20 papers and is inventor on over 25 patent applications and awards.
