Fireside Chat with Angela Belcher, MIT Professor and winner of the 2013 Lemelson-MIT prize
Angela Belcher, the W.M. Keck Professor of Energy in Materials Science and Biological Engineering, and faculty member of the David H. Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT, was awarded the 2013 $500,000 Lemelson-MIT Prize. She will speak with MIT Technology Review Editor-in-Chief Jason Pontin about her inventive work leveraging nature to create new materials, the companies she has founded to bring that work to market, and how she's inspiring the next generation of student inventors, innovators and technologists.
